Two medium sized Pomfrets

We(with wife) were returning home yesterday and I just saw a fish vendor suddenly I thought of cooking fish.First time in the history of our family had some body cooked fish @ home. Mom was not @ home so it was a safe thing to do.

I called my friend and asked the best place in Pune to get fish and he wisely guided me and suggested what I should get. So I got two medium sized Pomfrets. We returned home and called same friend for preparation steps and my wife also called her sister taking both things in to account we miked all possible combination of ingredients and made a fine paste.

Oh I just remembered we had asked the fish vendor to clean the fish as much possible as were beginners।We then rinsed the fishes under water for about 3-5 mins then we applied the paste inside the cuts on the fish and left for marination for about an hour.

By this time we were really hungry, happy as well as a bit nervous as we were not aware of the final result.but the gut feeling was that fish cooked any ways would be fine anyways..so we took the fish and put them in the frying pan and after a few mins.

And after the fish was served (dint look great) but tested really good,All is well that ends well..So here was our first experience of cooking fish @ home.

3 idiots: The Laughter riot

First of all Merry Christmas to all, I have read Chetan Bhagats 5 point someone and just saw the movie and I have to say that the concept is same, but the movie has its own twists and tails.

Perfection ko improve karna mushkill hi nahi na mumkin hai and Amir has once again justified his perfectionism. 3 Idiots is an out an out comedy and there were some movements in the movie when my stomach started paining due to laughing and I could not breath, for a few seconds I even choked.. Man I was happy and nervous the same time…

"All is well/आल इज भेल" is a dialogue in the movie which amir uses to handle pressure situations to calm himself, and I guess "All is well" could have been even the name of this movie..but anyways..

There are some flaws in the movie but the Amir’s acting overshadows everything. He has played role of a young college chap and never did he look then looked 40+ I don’t know if it was his makeup or his actual charisma.

The whole story revolves around Amir (Ranchordas), Madhavan and Sharman’s friendship and how Amir leaves everyone suddenly after collage and both their friends Madhavan and Sharman start the quest to search him and while searching how they remember those golden college days.

How the Professor Boman Irani (Virus) is afraid of guts of Ranchordas and how his acts make him shave of his moustaches, every second in the movie is full of comedy and also emotions.

Acting wise Amit khan is in the spot light and Madhavan and Sharman have played really balancing supporting roles. Kareena (I guess I have first time spelled this word ever in my life) has tried to play a cool bubbly role, some instances in the movie I felt she should not have played that role and in some cases she was just perfect. Boman Iranis roles was the kind of he had played in Munna bhai .. but never the less he justifies every dialog with his acting.

3 Idiots is a must watch movie and I guess its super hit. If I have to rate it would be * * * * .I would recommend everyone to watch the movie at least once if not more. Just relaxes and enjoy the Amir khan show..

Curse of the Socks

This is one of the most unusual things one must have ever read .. but yes our family is cursed..and with a very strange one .. Curse of socks.. One of a kind isn't it..If you are wondering what it is..let me explain it to you in details...

The fact is that whenever we bring new socks under some mysterious circumstances one of them gets lost and even after intense searching we are not able to find the other half of the pair. I don't know what our ansesters did wrong that we have to suffer with this unusual thing.

From childhood I am suffering because of this curse, we have a shelf in which all the sole souls of the socks are kept like orphans which cant be used..and some of them are so rarely used that no matter how old they are they look fresh .. just look brand new..

Its a pain to find the other sock and I guess I have excepted this as a reality..and treat my socks with utmost care..but no matter how much I care about it ..one of them sneaks out some how..

Well that's a strange thing to read isn't it? Believe it or not its true...

Two states Tiger Woods.

First of all I have to admit the fact that I know nothing about golf except the fact that Tiger Woods is the only hero in golf and he is truly a class act as far as playing golf goes. It all started with a car crash(at first I thought he is badly injured and instantly recalled loss of MJ) but the very next moment it was clarified that it was minor car crash, but what followed after that would have certainly crashed Tiger more than the car crash. All the NEWS channels started flashing about one of Tiger Wood's alleged affair, which was followed by countless instances of such affairs every day kept on adding, probably Tiger had affair with almost every women he came across.

But my concern is not why he did all this but how he managed to maintain the secrecy of the act with such great intelligence. Some of the reasons could be the fact that
  • Last five years were the most glorious years of his carrier.
  • He looks like a gentle man.
  • He had gained trust of his wife\family\world through his success.
  • May be he had stopped thinking in terms of ethics and moralities thus preventing any guilt feeling.
If we take Tiger Woods as a person and a professional certainly most people would say he is a good sports person than a good person\father\husband. Another thing which strikes me is his willingness to save his marriage at any cost I mean why he is even interested in saving all this after so many flings with so many women and even if he does manage to save the marriage what's the guarantee that he will remain committed to his wife and family.

I just remembered Hansie Cronje the cricketer who was involved in match fixing which took the whole world by surprise by his acts and he met a deadly accident and his whole cricketing glory vanished in the past and the world has almost forgotten him. I just hope Tiger do not meet the same fate.

I feel Tiger should put his past behind and concentrate on golf as staying in this marriage wont help him or the family anyway. It would be really interesting to see how his carrier shapes up post things settling down in his life. Will he remain the same champion golfer Tiger that still need to be seen..and also where his karma takes him. Come what may for me he will always remain a Tiger.. Tiger Woods...

HSs Top 5 most gorgeous women in all the Worlds..

I will not rate them in any order as it would be sin for me to do such a thing...

Michael Jackson tribute...

It was a usual morning and I just tuned into morning news and the news just flashed.
I was shocked to hear it and an instant feeing of sadness came into me..

Long time back when I was in school we had our gathering about 10-15 years back don't remember the exact year a group had performed on the song "Black Or White" and I instantly connected to that song, that time I was not so much into English pop then..

I used to listen to many of MJs songs such as "They don't really care..", "Earth Song.." and so on...I also remember when he had come to perform in Mumbai...him meeting Bal Thakrey and all that was a very different experience for me..

His passing away surely will create a huge void in the Music world just like Elvis Presley..

God bless his family and children and may his soul rest in Peace.

This is the first every song of MJ which I heard when I was in school...

The true Mumbai Indian.

Hello Folks,

Today we have just shifted to a brand new facility of our office I got a very nice location for a change and there is a big window just to the side of my cubicle which has a very nice view, okay lets cut the crap and get down to the main topic. Today I could not control myself from writing about Sachin Tendulkar after I saw yesterdays match between MI(Mumbai Indians) and KKR (Kolkata Knight Riders).

I was at home especially to watch the match and I was literally thrilled to see such devastating innings by the Master blaster. He was hitting the ball so well that I felt he was getting younger and younger.Just 2 days back he celebrated his birthday and turned the 36th page in his life. Who said T 20 is just for youngsters. The guy at the other end Sanath Jayasurya was equally good in smacking the ball all over the park.

Coming back to Sachin's innings he scored 68(45) [6 X 4's and 4 X 6's] with a whopping SR of 151.11. The way Sachin is playing now a days we can surely say that he is getting better and better just like an old wine.

A few of the shots which I would like to mention are
  1. A six which went out of the park. The classic pull shot from off side which made his back pain in the past. It was just superb to see it after such a long time.
  2. Another was a four which he deflected (reverse flick) at the last movement like an artist giving his final stroke of brush to finish his perfect painting, which went to the third man. I had never seen such a shot ever before.

I just could not believe myself yesterday it was such a treat to see such aggression from the masters in cricket. The KKR guys we totally demoralized with the opening pair posting an unbeaten 127 in just little over 12 overs. The way Sachin and Sanath were complimenting each other was tremendous. Intitally Sachin started smashing the ball and then as soon as Sanath got his chances he cashed in. It was pure aggression with respect for each other.

One more thing which I must say is that all the shots which were smashed were all proper technically correct cricketing shots. It was just pure timing and technique. India is really lucky to have such a great cricketer.Hope to see more fireworks in coming matches..cheers...and see MI in Semifinals.
