How to get sound sleep without medicines?

Do you have knack of not getting good sleep? Good sleep is very important for good health. Do you want to know how to get it very easily and that too without any pills.
Here are the things I generally do to get good sleep:

1. Do some physical activity every day (workout or walking) which tires our body.
2. Watch TV with auto timer off (but it is only 50 % successful).
3. Read the most boring book or do something you really hate before you sleep (best trick works always)
4. Close eyes and count from 100 to 1 (Guaranteed sleep for sure)

You can use any one of the above 4 tricks to get good sleep. the last 2 are my favorites.
